The Station Inn at Ribblehead

Motor Homes and Camper Vans

At The Station Inn, we welcome customers with Motorhomes or Campervans to park overnight in our carpark. It's our pleasure to offer this service for free, but we kindly ask that you use the Inn for food and drink during your stay. Pre-booking is not available, and we operate on a "first come, first served" basis. To avoid disappointment during busy times, such as weekends and Bank Holidays, we recommend arriving early. If the car park is full, there are many laybys around the Inn that you can also use.

For your convenience, we provide both portaloos and overnight toilet and sink facilities, as well as a waste disposal facility. Unfortunately, we do not offer Electric Hook Up services.

Upon arrival, simply book in at the Bar, and we will provide you with a code for the out of hours toilets and a ticket to display in your vehicle for the duration of your stay. You can also make an arrangement for an evening meal, either in the Inn or in your own camper. Please understand that flexibility over timings is appreciated.

To ensure maximum occupancy is achieved, we kindly ask that you park respectfully and closely to other vehicles, which benefits everyone.

Please note that there is no camping available on-site. While some have chosen to camp over the back wall of the Inn on Batty Moss, it should be noted that this is private land and not common ground, so we kindly ask that you refrain from doing so.

While you're here, take a look at our homemade food and drink menus, check out what's on, or discover the walks, caves and attractions nearby.

“One of our all time favourite pubs. Great location. Free overnight campervan parking (if you eat and drink in the pub), which is wonderful. Great food. Nice beer. Roaring fire. Friendly staff and friendly customers. What's not to like.”

“The most friendly staff you could wish for, coupled with great food & drink, makes for a place to visit at least once. Don’t worry if you’re a Campervan or Motorhome, if there’s no space on the car park, there are lots of lay-by spaces within walking distance.”

“What a fabulous find! We arrived hungry and cold. The food was great and the fire was roaring. Lovely welcome from the staff, checked in with us regularly and allowed us to charge phone and laptop. They allowed us to stay overnight in their car park, gave us a code for the toilet and they have other facilities necessary for van life. Definitely be returning again if we are this way!”

“Fabulous pub ,staff very helpful, food fantastic and huge portions, staff went out of their way to ask other motorhome owners could they move closer together this enabled a parking spot for my motorhome as I was staying 2 nights in their car park,it is busy at weekend so get there early to get a parking spot,or there is parking opposite the pub and down the road.very dog friendly, good beer as well”

“Just a great no nonsense country pub serving no nonsense fabulous food. The service was friendly and prompt and the locals and other customers were friendly. We did not stay at the pub so cannot comment on the rooms. However, they also have overnight parking for campervans at a small charge. It's close to the station though, so you could get the train and stay at the pub. Of course it's next to the fantastic Ribblehead viaduct and the very picturesque Yorkshire dales. So lots of things to do that does involve screens, but does mean that you'll have a great time.”

“I have been here on a few occasions now walking with friends. They have accommodation however I can't comment as I haven't stayed there. I usually stay in my van nearby or in the car park overnight. (This may be full and unavailable if you arrive at peak times) The food selection was brilliant just what we needed after a long day in the hills walking. There is a great selection of drinks for all both soft drinks alcohol and hot drinks. We ordered breakfast for the morning and it was absolutely fantastic there was 5 of us in total all food came out together all full English with toast and coffee great value for money and a refil of coffee along with extra toast I really couldn't fault it. There are not many places that do this nowadays so fair play to this place. I will be back again later in the year for sure.”

“Stayed here one night last week in my Campervan and it was a great little spot for a stop over. Staff were friendly and very helpful and the food was good. Only criticism, if staying in the carpark would be the cattle grid can be a little noisy as vehicles rumble over it in the night.”

“Stayed for two nights in the car park in my motorhome. Ate in the pub on both evenings and food excellent and reasonably priced. Tables are on a first come, first served basis but didn’t have a problem getting a table. Dog friendly. Fabulous views of the Viaduct and surrounding area. The Ribblehead Circular walks start from here too. Would recommend and will return in the future.”
