Come and join our astronomer "Cosmic Wonders" for an afternoon / evening of spotting shooting stars in the inky sky above the Station Inn.

The Yorkshire Dales National Park has been designated a "Dark Sky Reserve" by the International Dark Sky Association and on a clear night as well as 1000's of stars & some distant planets, the Milky Way is often clearly visible.

There will be a presentation next to the roaring fire in the Victorian range;a laser tour of the night sky & a free kids drop in session in the afternoon.

However as its winter do make sure you bring woolly hats and blankets! And importantly also bring a torch!

Join us at The Station Inn on 31st December 2024 for our James Bond themed New Years Extravaganza (yes we have got fed up waiting for the next film to!!). Featuring a 5 course meal; games and music. Whilst November the 5th is an annual tradition much loved by all we are aware that for some and especially our four legged friends the arrival of loud and unpredicatble noise is less welcome.

We dont have fireworks at The Station Inn and being as remote as we are we have no neighbours either. So if you want to some time away why not come and stay and enjoy fine food; warm fires; drinks and of course "the absence of bangs"!!
