Booking Process

To place a booking with us the lead guest must be at least 16 years of age. The maximum number of staying guests per room is illustrated in the room occupancy details on our website. Where the person making the booking is different from the lead guest taking up occupation, the person making the booking will be held responsible for cancellation, non-arrival and damages as set out within these terms and conditions. Only the lead guest and the named booked party are allowed to use the property and its facilities. Third party visitors are only allowed with our express permission.

A £50.00 per room non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is required to secure your bed reservation. Full prepayment will be taken within the 28 days prior to your arrival. All major Credit and Debit cards, with the exception of Diners Cards and American Express, are accepted. Any charges raised against us by our banks for handling dishonoured cheques, bank transfers or any other payments, must be reimbursed by the lead guest within seven days of any request to do so.

All guests agree to respect the privacy and peace of other staying guests, neighbours and the owners / staff at all times. Further they agree to treat all staff at the Inn with courtesy and respect. We reserve the right to cancel a booking with immediate effect if guests are not honouring this agreement or are causing a disturbance / nuisance to other guests; neighbours; staff or the owners.

Check-In & Check Out

Guests must check-in and check-out by the times stated below:

Please note if you are travelling a long distance to reach us – please call us on 015242 41274 to advise us of your arrival time, should it be outside the above stated hours.

Cancellation, Returned Deposit & Non Arrival Conditions

Cancellation policy

Our cancellation terms are as follows:

A £50.00 per room non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is required to secure your bed reservation. All major Credit and Debit cards, with the exception of Diners Cards and American Express, are accepted. Full prepayment will be taken within the 28 days prior to your arrival.

If a booking is cancelled by 12 noon, 28 days prior to arrival no further cancellation charges will apply on top of your £50 per room non-refundable deposit. If the booking is cancelled later, or in the case of a no-show, the remaining balance of the reservation will be charged.

Advance purchase and New Years Eve rates are all pre payable at time of booking and non-refundable.

Emergencies will be taken into consideration but we do recommend you take out travel insurance to cover yourself in case of cancellation.

If you have booked via a third-party channel your booking must be cancelled by 12 noon 28 days prior to arrival to avoid cancellation charges.

Group Bookings (four or more rooms)

Please note for group bookings we require a months’ notice of cancellation. Bookings cancelled with under a months’ notice will be charged in full. Full prepayment is required a month before arrival.

In the rare event that we need to cancel your booking with us, please be aware that we cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control and that our liability to you is limited to the refund of any payments already made to us.

WIFI Fair & Appropriate Usage Policy

Complimentary WIFI Internet access is provided in the public areas of the Inn and in some of the accommodation. We may monitor network performance and user usage in order to maintain a fair level of service to all our guests.

The internet access provided is intended for general use such as access to the world wide web; email; messaging services; social media etc., It is not intended or ideally suited for heavy media streaming, online gaming; extensive downloads/uploads. Access to illegal activity or use of our network for illegal activity is prohibited and will be reported to the local authorities.

Damages & Lost Property

We reserve the right to charge the lead guest for any damages caused through the course of a booking by any member of the booking party. This includes breakages, spillages, stains, damage to furniture or fixtures and fittings. Any accidental damages should be reported as soon as possible in order to minimise damage and associated costs. Lost keys will incur a replacement charge per key.

Smoking

Smoking of any tobacco products including, but not limited to cigarettes, pipes, e-cigarettes, cigars, snuff or chewing tobacco is strictly forbidden inside any part of the Inn – either in the rooms or public spaces.

Pets & Service Dogs

Dogs are permitted in all rooms for a fee of £20 per dog, with a maximum of two dogs per room. Owners are liable for any damage caused to rooms by their dogs, which should not be left alone unattended on the premises. Dogs should always be kept on a lead whilst on the premises and under their owner’s supervision.

Parking

Where taking advantage of our free on-site parking guests accept that that they park their vehicles at their own risk.

Dietary Requirements

It is your responsibility to notify us, in advance via email, of any special dietary requirements and/ or allergies that you may have and that our relevant to your stay.

Our Right to Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel any booking without compensation, refund or reimbursement if the terms of these conditions are breached.

Email Communications & Data Protection

We collect and process your email address solely for transactional purposes related to your booking and stay with us. This includes:

Your email address is stored securely and is not used for marketing purposes or shared with third parties. We do not send promotional emails or newsletters unless you have explicitly opted in to receive such communications. You can request the deletion of your email data at any time by contacting us directly.
